Community Teams Information & Registration Fees.

Mornington Soccer Club continues to offer players the opportunity to play in the community leagues as it always has in previous seasons. This competition, which covers U7 to U18 for both male and female players, is a high-quality competition which is graded to ensure that players are placed in their relevant age group and development, to maximise enjoyment, participation and learning.

All players, once graded and placed in a team, can expect an equal allocation of game time over the course of the season. Team’s play approximately 22 games a season and trains 1 or 2 nights a week.

Aldi Mini Roos

From U4 to U11 age groups both boys & girls play in the Aldi Mini Roos competition. ALDI MiniRoos uses shorter, game-based sessions based on 4 v 4, 6 v 6, 7 v 7 and 9 v 9 playing formats to introduce the sport of football to newcomers in an inclusive way. It focuses on learning new skills, being active, making life-long friends and, potentially, unearthing the next generation of Socceroos or Matildas.

Under 12 ‘9 v 9’ Format

Our Under 12 teams play Football Victoria’s transitional 9-a side format, which allows players to be challenged technically as well as physically through multiple repeated actions in smaller areas. Under 12 competition is played under FIFA Laws of the Game with modified rules to assist players in their development and also refine the transition to 11v11 football.

Under 13 to Under 18

Our Under 13 to U18 age groups play in the Football Victoria Leagues under full competition rules, which means full pitch size and 11 v 11.
