NPL Junior Boys Information & Registration Fee Summary.

Mornington Soccer Club play in the NPL Junior Boys competition in the under 13, under 14, under 15 and under 16 age groups.

The NPL structure is designed to provide a pathway for ‘aspirational’ players right through Junior and into Senior football. This requires a heightened dedication from both players and parents to meet the demands of the 40 week NPL season and is therefore not suited for every player. Our Community Junior Teams remain in place to allow players and parents the choice of which pathway is right for their circumstances and current development level.

NPL Technical Director
Craig Davidson

An NPL season consists of 33 matches and 3 x 1.5-hour training sessions per week across a 40 week season. Training is delivered by coaches who hold a minimum of a Football Victoria ‘C’ Licence coaching accreditations. Teams will be capped at 16-18 players per team. This ensures players in the NPL system receive a high standard of coaching and play against other players; who are also receiving this high-quality coaching.

Our philosophy at MSC has always been that players need to be enjoying match day game time in order to truly develop. This same philosophy remains in place throughout our NPL teams and is a key difference in our program versus other clubs. If you register to play at MSC, embrace yourself in the coaching programs and be a club and team player – you will receive equal game time across the course of the season.
