2025 UPDATE
Mornington Council will provide four full-size pitches, complete with advanced drainage systems and state-of-the-art LED lighting, ensuring top-quality playing conditions. These premier facilities will set a new standard on the peninsula, offering the best environment for players to train and compete at their best.
Current update is that works will commence around September 2025.

Dallas Brooks Reserve is one of the main sporting reserves servicing the township of Mornington and is home to the Mornington Soccer Club and the Beleura Junior Sports Club.
The current soccer and AFL playing fields have poor surface and soil conditions, as well as poor drainage resulting in increased damaged. There are also problems with the surface shapes, levels, and size compliance.
The project will upgrade the playing surfaces to the required standards for soccer, AFL and Cricket as well as make sure that the playing fields can cope with a high level of sports use.
The local community will benefit from safe, accessible and high-quality recreation spaces. They will also be provided with upgraded and additional car parking, and a new playground will be constructed.
Project Value $6 Million
